14th Annual U.S. Pond Hockey Championship – Jan. 24-27th

This is the 14th annual pond hockey tourney out on Lake Nokomis and if you haven’t been it’s a must do Minnesota event. Bundle up because it’s supposed to be a cold one this week, but you’ll be glad you went!

Lake Harriet Winter Kite Festival – Saturday, Jan. 26th


“Kites of all shapes, sizes, colors, and themes will fly over frozen Lake Harriet. Other fun family activities at the festival include ice fishing,  snowshoeing, and a marshmallow roast.”

The St. Paul Winter Carnival is another one of those must do Minnesota events. Music, food, good times, this is all you need!

MNFocus / MN STs: Bring it on winter! – Jan. 26th

“Most likely we’ll be south of 62 for this meet but that will ultimately depend on availability. To those that are new, we don’t care if you drive a mk1, an RS, fusion, a non boosted fiesta, etc, come by and hang out. Bring your car (or winter beater), we’ll have MN ST decals, Winter Beater / Winter Patrol decals, and there will likely be a camera or two roaming around.”
