Winter Beer Dabbler – Saturday, February 24th

Home & Garden Show – Friday, February 23rd-Sunday, February 25th

“Don’t miss the 40th Annual Home & Garden Show! This year we’re having some fun and changing things up. We will still have the over 130 different vendors showcasing products and services to help you with your next home project.”

Food, Wine & Beer Tasting at Como – Thursday, February 22nd

“Bouquets is the annual wine, beer and food-tasting event at the perfect destination during a winter night. Live music and hops in the Beer Garden plus specialty pours from wine stations throughout the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. Enjoy samplings from top Twin Cities restaurants, caterers and gourmands! A night roaming the gardens with special visits from animal ambassadors all while enjoying tastes from top restaurants and select beer and wine!”

Build a Viking Shield – Saturday, February 24th

“This two-day (or four-day) hands-on workshop is designed for those with little to no woodworking experience. Guided by the highly experienced Jarl of Ásfólk, Arthur Von Eschen, each student will build their own authentic Viking Age round shield. Participants learn how to:
*) Build an authentic Viking Age round shield
*) Maintain and repair a Viking Age shield
*) Use Viking Age tools
*) Modern power tools available to speed up construction, but highly recommend you at least try Viking Age tools
*) Work with wood, rawhide, hide glue, beeswax, oils and other Viking Age materials”

Winter at the Walker – Thursday, February 22nd
