Jurassic Quest – 11/30

The Minneapolis Convention Center is hosting Jurassic Quest from Friday through Sunday this weekend. This event is as epic as it sounds! Jurassic Quest is America’s largest and most realistic dinosaur event. Walk through exhibits displaying 80 truly life-size dinosaurs that are designed with the help of paleontologists to ensure the details are as historically realistic as possible. There are many more attractions for dinosaur fans of all ages. Dig up fossils, ride on a 24ft TRex, inflatables, craft stations, Dino Science stations, a Dinosaur Museum showcasing 60 million year old fossils, green screen pictures, and face painting.  Sounds like a roaring good time!

Hoppy Holidays Maker’s Market – 11/30

Join Urban Growler Brewing Company for their 2nd Annual Hoppy Holidays Maker’s Market to celebrate the holidays and local artists. 20 vendors will be showcased, stop by any time on Friday 11/30 from 5-10pm and Saturday 12/1 from 12-6pm. See a list of the artists here. There will be crafts, live music, gift wrapping, and of course, BEER!

Christmas in Excelsior – 12/1

Thanksgiving has passed, it’s okay to listen to Christmas music now! Join the City of Excelsior for their opening weekend of Christmas in Excelsior this Saturday. Enjoy wagon rides and a hot cocoa bar from 12-4pm, followed by a Chili Dinner with Santa and a choir at Excelsior Masonic Lodge. Take a walk to settle your belly after dinner and browse the shops. Make sure to stick around for the tree lighting at 7pm and an evening, horse-drawn buggy ride!

The Minneapolis International Festival – 12/1

Before heading to Excelsior for their Christmas celebration, celebrate a variety of cultures at The Minneapolis International Festival.  Experience cultural music, dance, art, food, and learn about the many amazing cultures that make Minneapolis such a wonderful place. This event and the food and beverages are free to the public.

Mini Sota Holiday Market – 12/2

One of Minnesotan’s favorite home-grown brands, Sota Clothing is hosting Mini Sota Holiday Market this Sunday from 12-5pm. Take free pictures with Santa and get some Christmas shopping done – There will be a handful of local children’s brands being features such as Candyland the Store, Just Sew Baby, Kampuché, Nickichicki, and more. North Star Donuts will be serving their delicious apple cider donuts outside the storefront from noon-3PM as well!
