Unfortunately, we cannot adjust or reschedule reservations due to inclement weather conditions.
From the time you submit your reservation online, you’ll have a 24-hour window to cancel for a complete refund. From there, you’ll be able to cancel up to two weeks prior to your rental date at the cost of your prepaid deposit.
Any cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the rental date will result in the full rental price being charged as a cancellation fee.
Monday through Friday, you can book an appointment any time between 10am and 5pm.
On Saturdays, we are around for rental pickups until 11am, by appointment only.
The MHCC is closed on Sundays, but you are still free to return your rental and leave the keys in our secure key dropbox outside.
Sure! We’ll just need to know the driver’s information 48 hours in advance.
Because our next series of renters are waiting to pickup their rental, it’s very important that the pick-up times are adhered to. There is a $50 charge for every hour you are late to your scheduled pick-up.
Reservations can be made through the reservations tool on our website. Simply select the vehicle you want, select the date that works best and upon submitting a deposit the selected car will be set aside for you.
Drivers must be at least 25 years of age to rent a majority of our vehicles.
Drivers must be at least 30 years of age to rent our exotic and ultra-luxury vehicles.
Drivers must present a valid driver’s license at time of rental and maintain a clean driving record.
Drivers must have proof of personal private vehicle insurance at time of rental.
Drivers can not have more than 2 moving violations within the last 5 years, none of which can fall under the following categories: reckless or careless driving, driving under the influence (DUI), or driving more than 10 miles over the speed limit.
Yes – however, every driver must meet our rental requirements and be listed on the rental contract.
We accept all major credit cards, checks, and PayPal.
Reservations cancelled 14 days before the reservation date qualify for a full refund. If a reservation is cancelled less than 14 days from the reservation date the deposit made at reservation will serve as cancellation fee and will not be returned.
Changing the reservation date is accepted 14 days prior to the reservation date. The reservation inside of 14 booking days cannot be altered or moved without cancellation.
All vehicles will be picked-up and returned to the MHCC warehouse located at 710 Pennsylvania Ave. S. in Golden Valley, MN by appointment only. Once a reservation has been placed online we’ll follow-up with you personally to confirm specific pick-up and drop-off times for the days you have selected for your rental.
Our standard daily mileage allowance is 150 miles per day. We also ask that our vehicles only be used within a 150-mile radius of our location at 710 Pennsylvania Ave, Golden Valley, MN 55426.
If you would like to add more miles to your rental we’re happy to do so and will charge the equivalent of the regular daily rate divided by 150 for every additional mile. The same applies if you go over your allowed mileage. For instance, if you wanted to add more miles to a vehicle that regularly rents for $200 per day, the cost per incremental mile above 150 would be $1.33/mile ($200 daily rate/150 miles = $1.33 per mile)
No – due to the nature of our vehicles and the unpredictable weather here in Minnesota, we limit our rental season to May 1st through October 31st. This ensures the safety of our renters as well as the longevity of our vehicles.
