Morrie’s Auto Drive to Compare – Sat., August 10th We created a program that’s changing the way people test drive and compare cars. We wanted to create an event where folks can experience cars in a pressure-free environment. In a setting where it’s easy to bounce from one car to the next. Supplemented by resources that help you with the comparison process and gather immediate feedback. Where you can do all of your legwork in just a couple of hours and have some fun in the process! The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Hungary took place this weekend and was arguably a rather non exciting race. It was pretty bland. Except for some parts! The big news was the heated battle between Hamilton and Verstappen. Vertsappen started in P1 and was able to hold first for nearly the entire race until the Silver Arrow decided to attack. Verstappen had lost most of his tire tread and ultimately could not compete with Hamilton. With about 5 laps to go, Hamilton overtook Verstappen and won the race. With Hamilton and Verstappen finishing in 1st and 2nd respectively, Vettel ended up taking 3rd. […]

Mercedes has yet anoth-… wait a minute… Mercedes only scored two whole points in Germany? What is this nonsense! They had their cars painted all pretty to celebrate motorsport and both Lewis and Bottas had their worst races of the season? Germany proved to be a very tough track not just for Mercedes but for all other teams. Ferrari had its difficulties but also had its wins as Vettel came back from 20th position to finish in 2nd while Leclerc started strong and ultimately did not finish. The strange bits of rain truly left for some insane driving and some insane maneuvers from drivers. Some of these maneuvers worked while others did not. A big win of the race was Red Bull Torro Rosso securing a podium finish with Kyvat, their first in over 3,900 days. There is so much that went on in this race, I cannot fit it all into one singular paragraph so attached is a video highlighting all of the madness that went down in Germany. […]

Yet another Grand Prix and still the same old bland racing style that is now associated with Formula 1. This past weekend, the teams ascended upon Silverstone in the UK and Mercedes decided that they would keep dominating as they do. Bottas took pole position at the start of the race with Lewis starting off in 2nd. Hamilton eventually won the race but a rather interesting crash happened before the end. A strong match between Vettel and Verstappen ensued and Vettel ended up rear ending Verstappen. […]

Everyone likes fast cars and everyone likes hill climbs. So what does one get when those two things are combined? Pikes Peak! At least, that is what a simpleton would say. A more classy and sophisticated lad would give you the answer of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This past weekend, nearly every dream car imaginable was relentlessly thrashed up the hill at Goodwood leaving us with some amazing YouTube content. […]

Minneapolis Mile Car Show 2019 – All Things Car Culture

By |2019-07-02T16:01:13-05:00July 2nd, 2019|Events|2 Comments

As I rolled out of bed this past Sunday at 6:45AM, I was rather disappointed. The slight patter of rain against my window gave me a queasy feeling of anxiety as I knew the car show ahead of me was going to have a slim turnout. Rain always made for odd car shows. Why can one not drive their sports car with perfectly good tires in the rain? Was it the fear of crashing or the fear of being crashed into? Either way, this thought has always baffled me. […]
